The Sit Back and Adventure Zone was a fantastic place for people to chill out and relax at AAF21 and it will be coming back for AAF22. In the Sit Back and Adventure Zone you can kick back to listen to some inspiring adventure talks and workshops, explore expedition vehicles, plan your own adventures and much more.

TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
At the heart of The Sit Back And Adventure Zone is the second stage. This included workshops on the basics of overlanding, presentations on expeditions of the past and future and much. much more.
One of of our favourites was Andy and Rosalind's from Atlantic Escapade, Andy recently returned from rowing around the UK and next the pair plan to Row the Atlantic Ocean. Impressive stuff!
THE PLANNING TENT
Tucked in the corner of The Sit Back and Adventure Zone was the planning tent that was being hosted by Kim and Robin Grigsby. The pair have racked up over 200,000 miles in their legendary defender and have plans to get back on the road exploring asap. They're hugely experienced overlanders and were on hand to help anyone with the planning of an upcoming adventure. They also ran a workshop on Overlanding 101.
The pair hope to be back on the road next year but with any luck they'll be setting off just after the festival as we loved having them involved!
EXPEDITION VEHICLES
We love all kinds of adventure and were lucky enough to have some fantastic expedition vehicles on display including Andy and Rosalinds Ocean Rowing Boat, a legendary scooter and sidecar, a Unimog and more!
