Service Description

Master the skills of using an axe and a knife to make your own beautiful spatchelor! The class is 3-4 hours and is taught by an experienced military survival expert and wood carver who provides a unique introduction to the evolution of spoon making from elementary survivalist to specialist bush-crafter. We learn about the different materials and properties that our forests provide and techniques that will inspire to take up this very relaxing and rewarding skill. At the end, you will walk away with your carving in hand! This is an adult only event minimum age 16! Attendees will need to wear long trousers and closed footwear ie: no flip flops. Please be aware this is quite a physical workshop and requires extensive use of back, wrist, finger, arm and shoulder muscles.
