AAF Blue Monday Film Night in aid of Mental Health Motorbike and Blackdog Outdoors
An evening of Armchair Adventure including a screening of 972 Breakdowns
Blow those January blues away with an Armchair Adventure Festival Film Night in aid of Mental Health Motorbike and Black Dog Outdoors.
This Blue Monday (statistically the most depressing day of the year), we’re going to transport you around the world on an Armchair Adventure! From the comfort of your living room, we’ll head off to foreign lands in search of tales of adventure.
We’ll journey from Germany to New York with our feature film 972 breakdowns, check in with our adventurous community who are out on the road now and get inspired for adventures at home with Yes Man Dave Cornthwaite.
This one-off event is completely FREE to attend just sign up for your free front row seat on the link below and get ready for a cracking night of adventure live in your living room:

The event is free to attend, just donate to our tip jar if you enjoy the evening (all donations split 50:50 between our two chosen charities).
Thanks to Ural Motorcycles for sponsoring this event and helping us keep it free!
What's On?
The event will feature two very different adventure travel films, Q&A's with the filmmakers and catch-ups with Armchair Adventurers who are on the road right now! Plus, there will be lots of prizes to be won by donating to our chosen charities or just by turning up!
Feature Film - 972 Breakdowns on the land way to New York
5 artists who know little about mechanics. 43,000 km’s of open ‘road’. 4 Ural motorcycles and sidecars. What could possibly go wrong? This absolute belter of an adventure travel film has been picking up awards at adventure film festivals world over and for good reason!
The film follows a two-and-a-half-year journey from Germany to New York and is what adventure travel is all about! Followed by a live Q&A with some of the team this is not one to miss!
Bonus Short - The 40 Mile Birthday
Just to check that his body still worked as it crept into middle-age, Dave Cornthwaite spent his 40th birthday travelling 40 miles, each mile using a different form of non-motorised transport.
The event raised several thousands of pounds for the SayYesMore community space, the YesBus and was a great way to find adventure in Dave’s backyard on his birthday! This short should give some inspiration for those Armchair Adventurers who don’t have the time or desire to travel 43,000km's from Germany to New York on a Ural! Dave will pop on for a Q&A after the film!
This event is only available live so clear your schedule, sign up for your free front row seat and dust off your favourite armchair!
