£1,250 raised for the Get Out Do Stuff travel grant by raffling off a bottle of milk.

You raised a whopping £1,250 for our #GetOutDoStuff Adventure Travel grant at #AAF24 and that was mainly raised through our big Saturday night raffle in which the first prize was four pints of full fat milk... Okay so that wasn't the best prize but it was the first one drawn - congratulations if you were the lucky winner of that fresh milk on the third day of a sunny festival! Thanks again to all of our other amazing prize donors including The Bounty Project, The Oceans Guest, The Intrepid Explorer and ReTribe!

£1,250 is an incredible amount of money to raise in one weekend. That total includes all money raised in the raffle and other donations made at the time of purchasing tickets. If you didn't donate but would still like to do so then just head to this Just Giving page.

If you've not heard of the #GetOutDoStuff grant yet then where have you been?! It's an adventure travel grant set up in memory of AAF supporter David Martin with the purpose of carrying David's Get Out Do Stuff mantra forward! The award can fund your adventure and anyone can apply! Find out more on the link below.

Applications for the 2025 funding will open 1st October. If you'd like to find out more information on the grant find check out the web page here.

The idea of #GetOutDoStuff is to inspire and enable more people to get involved with adventure travel. That's also the reason the festival exists and we would love to know if attending The Armchair Adventure Festival has led to you taking on any new adventures! Please drop us an email by replying to this one if attending any AAF event has led to you taking on an adventure and let us know what you've been up to!

Thanks so much too if you're one of the amazing people who have already bought tickets to #AAF25!! We were blown away by the support for the event! If you've not bought yours yet you can still get early bird prices here.
